We are extremely sorry to announce that we will be closed for the 2020 season until further notice. We are committed to ensuring your safety and the combination of insurance and global health concerns mean we are not in a position to do that as well as you expect us to.

We look forward to assisting you in 2021!

Emergency Response Team Training

Our Head Guide and Senior Guide are both qualified Vertical Rescue Operators, certified by the Professional Association of Climbing Instructors (PACI).

Between them they have attended vertical rescue training courses nationally and internationally over the past 2 decades to extend their knowledge and skills with many organisations, and in varied environments including alpine, canyoning, swift/water, and generally vertical. These organisations range from the Volunteer State Emergency Service to private companies such as the Australian School of Mountaineering, Safety Access & Rescue, Outdoor Discoveries and Adventure Out Australia.

Our guides are all Wilderness First Aid qualified. Our Head Guide also has qualifications in Occupational First Aid, Cert IV in Health Care and is currently completing a Diploma in Paramedical Science.

We regularly train with and assist the local Volunteer State Emergency Services and Volunteer St John Ambulance team in multidisciplinary rescues of the general public in the Park.

We have also hosted several Emergency Services teams on extremely rewarding training days. Contact us to discuss how we can assist your team, may it be for competition training or just to share and extend knowledge and skills.

Our FAQ page will answer most of your questions.
